I care about the information being released. I think it is a good thing for them to be found out. It is something they deserve.

Or, as Forrest Gump put it: Stupid is as stupid does. That's arrogant stupidity and that really often goes hand in hand with questionable behavior.

I'm not defending Duggar, but we might need some confirmation on some of these released names. It wouldn't take much brain power for Joe Schmuckton in Detweilor, Minnesota to think 'Josh Duggar' might be a fantastic alias to use when he signs up.
And 'Josh' there is just an example. Hell, I could see a close friend of mine 'borrowing' a name from a porn star if he signed up.
I wonder how many people on AM are actually single ?? How close would AM check as long as an individual was willing to pay the fees ??

Oh, I think having the info dropped is good. I don't care one whit about the people being outed, because I agree -- they deserve it.

Maybe you can come to some sort of arrangement or maybe not. I never have seen the appeal of cheating myself. It seems like a lot of work and also super duper stressful. I also would say I have above average communication skills when it comes to talking about sex. I mean if you are somewhere in your 30s or under people are just so much more open minded then they used to be. I think this spoon fed idea of strict monogamy and how uncomfortable people are with talking about what they want is perhaps the root cause of cheating in the first place.
I wonder how many people here are incapable of letting their partner sleep with other people under any circumstances? Something like that, especially when people are safe about it, isn't cheating and maybe could satisfy that cheating desire that people get.
My take is a bit different. If you don't want monogamy, don't ever agree to it.
But, I do agree that if one has made such an agreement and is going to violate the agreement, it would be better to inform the interested party in advance. They can then decide if they wish to terminate the relationship or continue with a change to a different agreement. Still, it is a shitty thing to agree to something and then not follow through. So if one wants to sleep around, the solution is very simple: Just never agree to monogamy in the first place.
Yeah, I actually agree with you. That's probably an even more mature choice, if you absolutely can't handle monogamy.

How this devolved into a discussion about the immorality of cheating, I have no idea. What about a person's privacy? Can't anyone separate one's privacy from what he perceives as the same person's wrongdoing? It's not like we're talking about info on murders here. This is about privacy and how it went downhill, and all you people can do is blame the cheaters. What the [...]?!

Uh... the website is for people who want to cheat. It didn't "devolve" to that; it's 50% of the topic of this thread. I started the thread; I should know.
