How Long Will Christians Wait for the End Time to Come?

I've also watched a number of documenteries on such end of human kind and maybe the whole planet.  Also such disasters have good evidence that all of this has happened in the past.  Some of this stuff makes Revelations look like a mild inconvenience in comparison.

These are real possibilities and not just some "nutter" espousing garbage from an ancient book to try to get you to convert out of fear.  To me  all that prophesy was just another fear tactic used by the christians to try to get more converts.  So clearly I'm not a supporter  of the 2nd coming.  In fact I'll bet that when  the big  one hits there will be a lot of distraught Christians when no salvation (except death) comes.

So to most scientist it's not a question of IF it will happen but  WHEN.

I have seen however, a few people that say that we shouldn't bother  with any such space programs or sciences that  may help prevent or prepare for these events because Christ is coming so we should just leave all the saving of mankind to him.

To these people (and I'm sure we have some  here) I say: shame to  you for being so lazy, so gullible, and so uncaring that you would sit back and do nothing but  try to hope that your particular faith will save you and then you turn right around and hope that the rest  of us would suffer just because we don't want to think like you.
Oh, humans are definitely doing everything in their power to destroy the conditions that support our life form. We've reached the point now where turning things around will require sacrifices the majority of us are not willing to make.

I think about all the oil we have at the north pole and wonder where it came from. If oil is fossil fuel and fossils are things that used to be alive, then at some time in history the north pole must have been teaming with life. . We live in a tiny sliver of time and space where the Earth supports carbon based life. We will come to the end of that sliver and we are trying our best to hasten that end. Then the Earth will keep orbiting the sun, just as oblivious to our absence as it is to our presence.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Could be they have an order of coming to fruition and over a certain period of time, the scriptures never dictated when they would start, but they are nearly finished. By the way there'll be no rapture, Christians will go through the tribulation as all people will. There will be a big difference for us, God will be with us.

The danger posed by these end time idiots is that they don't give a shit about this planet and their right wing politicians consistently vote against environmental concerns. Do they think they will go to heaven after trashing the Earth and hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant?" Do that not read where the Bible says, "He that destroys the creation of god him shall god destroy."

Earth produces its own gases and fluids, such as water and oil, from its internal chemical factory.  If we ever get to a planet or moon that has similar internal processes such as the Earth has we will also discover oil and natural gas on it.

Et's untorely pissable.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Basic geology and a basic understanding of tectonic plates pretty much let's you figure out why there is earth quakes.
Wars we are human we fight over anything and most of the wars in history has been about religion and we are having a war about religion now.
and then famine that is pretty much give or take not all that surprising people have always been starving some where and some how.
But the prophecy in the bible is  so damn broad. Oh and the blood moon there is a physical and scientific explanation for that.
It's insulting to human intelligence,  but not for the people who believe that crap . How ingenious to create a religion where man's first sin was the desire for knowledge. Once you get people believing that, you can tell them anything.

It is insulting the thing is manly that people well theists have their heads shoved so far up their asses up about the bible god and religion they wont pull it out for that breath of fresh air and evidence. The thing is the bible writers knew at the game their religion is fraud and fake all you had to do was use common sense to figure out its all a lie. So they put that story in of adam and eve making it seem like we are sinners when we clearly aren't. We are curious by nature we want to learn and do things and the bible writers knew if people thought for themselves we wouldn't have power over them so lets add something in to keep people under our control.

The real insult to human intelligence is atheism.  You either believe that all matter has existed forever with no beginning or you believe that all matter was magically created from nothing with no creator.  Your belief system is obviously superior to any religion of faith.

As distinct from a magic space pixie that wished everything into existence?

No. I'm intellectually honest and don't hazard guess in areas I have no grasp of. And not afraid to say 'I don't know'....And all of this has fuck all to do with atheism.

You are obviously in need of a dictionary. Lack of belief is not a belief system, per se.
