Plenty of them Cato.
Just read NDEs experiences.

What? You find first person reports of what people think is going on with them when they're unconscious more reliable than any application of the scientific method?
Oh Rik, I don't want to keep calling you a goof ball. Are you just baiting us? Why do you need abuse in your life? How did you come to this?

Yes, NDE's are an interesting phenomena.
You don't think they actually provide any evidence for any of your unsupported claims, do you?
Oh yeah, I forgot who I am responding to.
No understanding of the burden of proof. Check.
No understanding of what constitutes reliable evidence (hint: personal experience is not reliable evidence). Check.
No demonstrable evidence provided for any of his claims. Check.
And we're the ones being unscientific when we disbelieve your claims. Yoga' please!
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Little pRik?
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Already used that one some time ago. Trying to keep myself entertained by coming up with new puns, because this dumb-ass has been spewing the same tedious sh*t for quite a while. He's a bit of a one-Little-tRik-pony, this one...

I lost the count of how many times atheists claim that there is no God, that with the physical life is all over, that we got the consciousness that we got from previous generation and so on.
Are these not believes?
Are you kidding me?
No that is not a belief.
We went through this recently with some bozo insisting on telling us what atheism means. You are just ar deluded as he was. Why can't you theist at least come up with a new tactic when you see something isn't working? The more stuff doesn't work the more you persist in it. I guess that's what faith is all about.
The fact that you went through doesn't mean that you got it right.
Belief is the state of mind in which a person thinks something to be the case..................

They are called near death experiences not death experiences. The difference may seem small but the effects are huge.
So you reckon that doctors that declare a bloke dead are not capable of knowing for sure whether the bloke is alive or dead?
What a waste plumb.
These doctors study for years and years for nothing.
They should come to your school and learn the profession.
By the way what are your qualification?

There is quite a big difference between being clinically dead and being dead dead (biologically dead). Clinically dead means the circulatory system temporarily ceases function, leading to the onset of oxygen deprivation in the brain. Biologically dead mean your brain itself has ceased all function, and it cannot be reversed.
I'm thinking you suffered from the first at some point in your life. That or drugs are just way powerful these days.

Since you appear to have missed it, the first time, I'm going to quote myself here:
(September 28, 2015 at 1:09 pm)TheRocketSurgeon Wrote: I suppose we should pause a moment to scientifically consider your NDE claims.
Thankfully, the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP) has already done so:
Is There Evidence for an Afterlife?
http://www.csicop.org/sb/show/is_there_e..._afterlife
NDE Experiment: Ethical Concerns (a review of "studies" of the NDEs reported in hospitals)
http://www.csicop.org/si/show/nde_experi..._concerns/
If you want to learn about your brain's architecture and why humans tend to believe silly things, read The Belief Engine.
http://www.csicop.org/si/show/belief_engine
And many more such articles!
I know you don't actually care to investigate the truth of how our brains create fabrications like NDEs (and religion!), and won't read any of that. I've come to expect it. But since you came here calling us unscientific and claiming we just need to look to see the truth, I'm pointing out to you that we have looked, scientifically, and found the concepts lacking.
You should try science and reason. They're often quite refreshing.
