What was your first ever PC game? This was mine, for my 7th Birthday:

My first ever PC game was the text based adventure "Pirates Cove" on a Vic 20.
Yeah...I'm old.

Commander Keen. It was on my dad's computer. I *LOVED* this game as a kid! Fucking best game of all time IMO.

Well if we're going to talk about our very first computer game rather than PC, then it has to be Horace goes Skiing that was free with the ZX Spectrum

My dad had a spectrum. I played Alchemist on it. That was fun.
I like text adventures, they're cool. I've played some Zork1.
Commander Keen I am sure is good, been meaning to get it for Dosbox. It is made by the geniuses that did Wolfenstein and Doom of course. Id software rules.
I'm getting obsessed with Doom, I've even made 12 levels for it recently. They suck. But it's fun to do.
The gameplay of the levels is not what I struggle with, it's the aesthetic and detail. I'm no artist or house designer.
Anyway, more first game peeps! I LOVE old PC games! w00t

Moved it to gaming
These were my first games:
And, other than that... Minesweeper, and like... a bunch of games on floppy disks that I've long ago forgotten.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Vic 20 and Commador's are still PC's, as is the ZX Spectrum.

Yep, PC just means personal computer. I'm just not after any console games because I see too many nostalgic stuff against then and I was always primarily a PC gamer anyway.
I'm a big fan of DOS games

Oregon trail? One of those games you play when they teach you about computers. Or some other little educational game.
The first really fun game I remember was when I watched my friend play Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines. It's kind of a stealth game where you sneak into a base, neutralize the enemy, and complete some main objective. Blowing something up, grabbing some piece of info, assassinating/rescuing someone, ect. I've got the series on Steam, but only the second game (Men of courage) really works right. It's commonly viewed as the best of the bunch anyway.
