Yes. I realize how stupid that sounds. Tbh, I have no solid stance on the gun-control issue. Both the right wing and the left wing have good points on why we should and shouldn't have gun control.

Trying an 11 year old child as an adult is disgusting. Whoever gave him access to that gun should be tried for sure. 11 years old is just a baby

That's a grossly incorrect understanding of history.

The main problem here is irresponsible parents, not the weapon. I wish there was some way to impose a responsibility criterion on would-be parents, that way these sort of incidents can be stopped completely (barring a few accidents).
