SURVIVOR
RE: SURVIVOR
Who do you guys think is gonna win??
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Was it just me, or would you kind of hate to be Spencer's girlfriend watching this episode and then realizing that when he got home he STILL hadn't told you he loved you? Angel

I hope that all worked out for him (and them)...

Andrew can go suck eggs for all I care, but I was happy for Joe and Kass winning the challenge, and for Spencer and... Cierra? And I felt bad for Tasha, but that was almost immediately gone when the "rat" thing went down.

I'm enjoying this season.

Really? I'm questioning my prediction of a female winner this season right now because...

I think Jeremy is getting a potential winner's edit. He's being cunning, he's making personal bonds, a lot is being said about how much he loves Val and is missing her and doing this for her... He seems like he's either getting a winner's edit, or is being set up for a major blindside in a soon-to-come episode.

My winner's pool right now includes Jeremy, Kelley and Varner.

I'm liking this season a lot, but won't like it anymore if someone I don't like wins. I feel like the winner kinda makes the season. Season 30 is one of my favorites pretty much solely because Mike won, and the way he got there. Best winner I've ever seen on this show.

Yeah, I could never date Spencer. I'm too needy for someone so disconnected lol. That, and I don't think he's attractive. Joe on the other hand.... what a beautiful man.  Shy

I also noticed Varner's edit and wondered if he might win. You're totally right about Jeremy's edit, which I hadn't noticed before. I guess I just wasn't even thinking about him that way because he seems like too much of a threat for people to keep around for long.

Morgan, do you want to join our group video chats on skype?? Several of us are in a skype group I created where we set up times to do group video chats with up to 10 people. Our last one was this past Monday where we had up to 8 of us on lol. Do you want to join sometime??

Yelch, no!  Mike had a good run of about 3 episodes for me but then he came off as paranoid and manic and by the end of the show I couldn't stand him.  I don't contest that he was the most deserving of the win, but... just... no.  By far not the best winner for me.

My top winner is probably Parvati (a social-game genius) but I'd have to rewatch all seasons to fully rank them (Todd, for instance, strikes me as a top-dog, as does Sophie.  Rob would make my list but it took him four tries to get the win, even tho, IMO, he should have gotten it in Allstars - he was a victim of a bitter jury there because he clearly played an incredible game.)

Rolleyes Are we gonna do this again? Tongue

This early in the game it's hard to tell if people are getting winners edits or are being set up for a major fall.  Right now, my read on Varner and Jeremy are that they're getting winner's edits.

We could do a Survivor chat right after a show. Actually we'd have to check time zones for that to work. I'm in the Pacific time zone so I guess it would be 10 pm where Cath-y is by the time it finished showing here. I can't recall where you are Morgan. And thanks for the link; I'm caught up.

PST for me

I'd have to figure out how to put skype on my sister's mac if we're going to do that (not like it's hard, it's just that my netbook w/ skype on it died several months ago) - and then I'd have to figure out what my login is... Tongue
