Randy invested at an insanely massive amount of time into this forum. Him just walking away from his work doesn't seem consistent with his online personality at all.
Hell, I could be wrong though. It's happened before.
Despite us commonly calling him a moron (for expressing moronic opinions that were mostly the result of willful ignorance and bias), Randy actually reads as a highly-intelligent person... he's just a jerk, which is not uncommon in really smart people who feel confident in their own beliefs. [Hey... where'd that mirror come from? Get that away from me!]
If they're brothers, and this one is his little brother who wants to be like smart bigger bro real bad, then it's not surprising to me that their tone and beliefs are so similar. RB reads to me a lot more like a teenager, while Randy is in a pretty good college.
Yes, Randy is smart.
Certainly smart enough to change his style up a bit.
And narcissistic enough to need us to know that this is him.
Randy's brother? Not Randy's brother Mitch or Tyrone, even?
C'mon!

I concede that your point is a distinct possibility, and would even say it's more probable than my own hypothesis.
Perhaps I just wish to believe the best in people, where possible.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Hey, I'm not his brother's keeper.
Did Randy Carter (or was it Carson?) get banned? Why they let this joker come in who's so obviously the same idiot? Unless he has an evil twin.
Carson, I believe.
He gets in because no one can prove it's him, even if he let's us know in not-so-subtle ways. As long as he follows the rules and doesn't admit to being Randy outright, what can anyone do?
I actually find it slightly clever and extremely hilarious.
IF it is in fact Randy, of course.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

and I feel like you skip the whole part where you can have everlasting life.
that's a head scratcher how you deduced that God hates us. How is dying for all mankind hate?
I think you're scared because you're not really sure hell or God is real, and my view is that your very belief depends on your destiny for eternity.
It is you who have missed 3 very important points here.
1. This is an atheist forum. Religion is not respected here for its own sake. If your arguments cannot stand without fiat credulity, we will ridicule them. If you want your religious views to be respected then you should go to a Christian web forum.
2. God set Adam up in the first place. Why should a man who has no sense of right and wrong be punished? Even after Adam's so-called fall, we were doing fine, working together peacefully at the tower of Babel. Your god saw this and was so intimidated by what we might accomplish that he confused our language. Jesus' death is like a doctor who makes you sick only so you can feel grateful when he makes you well.
3. Based on what the Bible itself says, we can only conclude that the god Christians have created hates humanity and even created us for the specific purpose that he needed something to hate. Example?
Romans 8: 21 Wrote:Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
God doesn't do things out of love or justice. As one poster called him, that "draconian psychopath" does things because he has the power and no one can stop him.
I can't get over how strange atheists interpretations of the bible are

Why should we believe our history books? You need to make a grown up decision and ask yourself seriously whether it is fable or true. If you think it's a pile of heaping dung, then have a good day. If you don't and you believe on Jesus, then awesome! May God bless you all the days of your life.
Because the history books were written based on the available evidence.
There is absolutely no evidence that the Bible is correct, and plenty of evidence to say that it is incorrect.

That's the best you can say? What is strange about them? Sounds like common sense to me.

Daniel, have you ever seen a history book that had talking snakes and garrulous donkeys in it?
In fact, have you ever even seen any book besides the magic one that you worship?
