I lived in Iran for four years. I don't appreciate assholes of any faith, and yes, that includes assholes who are Christian.

Yeah, just become okay with how things are. I'm sure that will work out great. I have no idea where this school of thought comes from, but it's not appreciate. I will express as much disdain for something I disagree with as I want. Is what I disagree with distasteful to you? I don't really see how you would be okay with Christianity seeing as you're an atheist. Maybe you have a live and let live philosophy in life. I do not feel comfortable living in a society with so many Christians and religious beliefs. They are the ones corrupting morality, repackaging other's morals and calling them their own, make believing a prejudice and bigoted asshole god in the reflection of their own ego, spreading absolute nihilism in the belief that without god there's no meaning to life. I'm not sure where you live in the world, but in my opinion you are free to say what you think.  What you cannot control is how others take it and any consequences or ramifications that may come of your words.  Certainly a phrase like that is bound to draw attention.  Personally as a Christian, I find it saddening that you would want me killed without knowing me at all or ever interacting with me. I'm not sure if I missed your intro or not in to why you garner so much hatred for an entire group of people.

Well, it does put me in an awkward position. I think you're probably a nice guy; polite, a smiling avatar. Here's the thing though, I wish that Christianity didn't exist. So if I get mad and say that I wish all Christians were dead, I can't honestly say that I wish all of them were dead. That would be all my aunts and uncles, probably some of my cousins, nice people like you and untold amounts of other nice religious people. So now, I hope you don't think I "literally" want to kill you. I just get really mad at the shit I see in the world, I tend to want to express the level of how I feel. Don't take it literally.
