Yeah no again The old testament is still in affect it doesn't  matter what Paul wrote he is a self appointed apostle.

It occurs to me that the only thing sillier than Christians debating the minutia of their theology is having non-Christians debating the minutia of Christian theology. What Christians don't get is that their entire religion is based on a false view of the universe. Debating which little bit is somehow less false than some other little bit is like blowing the foam off the top of a beer. It might tickle your nose but the “real” stuff (that the god doesn't exist) lies much further down in the glass.

Pretty much and i am still scratching my  head why bronze age religions are still a thing.

It is the Old Testament that judges all of you 'good people.'

The Old Testament is also what saves the rest of us through Christ.

Again because the law is more than a list of do's and do not's. 1/3 to 1/2 of the law is about atonement. Atonement is the only way to have sins forgiven. When Christ died and proclaimed "It Is Finished" from the cross He was proclaiming the fact that the Law was now made complete. Again, not that it has gone anywhere, but made complete/Changed. In that no longer was the blood of animals needed to be used to atone for sin. Which means 'righteousness' For The Believer Only, was not obtained through following the law. (now ask why if you don't know)

Even so the law Remains. It remains as a benchmark used to judge the sinful unrepentant world.

Paul is a self appointed apostle it doesn't matter what he wrote.

I'm curious as to why Paul was needed anyway. Why did God need some human to come along and clarify things?

It just seems so silly to believe that your beloved lord and savior came down to this world to spread his message, but after visiting us himself, god needed a little extra help from some human many years later.
