Basketball is popular world wide and Hockey is a Canadian thing.

I dunno, basketball seems way more popular over here than in Europe. Also I live in New England, hockey is very popular here.

Not like it is in Canada. I remember going to a library in Canada where there was one section for sports and another one of approximately the same size for hockey. I also doubt people in New England find hockey exciting to do this when your team loses:

If and when you do explore hockey I highly recommend attending live games first. I watch both the same way, most of my attention is away from the ball/ puck. I get more enjoyment out of watching plays develop which I think broadcasts can't quite capture. The Bruins might be pricey, but there's several quality college teams near you.

Regardless of how anyone feels about the Bulls or Jordan, that 72-10 season was amazing. Even with the head start Golden State currently enjoys, that's going to be a tough mark to beat. I hope they do it. Records were made to be broken.

Detroit had Laimbeer. Pistons fans may have loved the guy, but no one else did. Big Grin

Oh and we know that Smile

I've met Laimbeer a few times.  He's as big a DB as you would expect.

Sayonara consecutive win record. Lost tonight on a back to back to the Bucks following a double overtime win against Boston in which they were missing two starters. Drayman and Steph both played huge minutes. Frankly I'm glad they lost if the effort to win would have cost another injury to anyone. What matters most is winning the championship (first, second and third) with beating the Bulls record for most wins in a season coming in a distant fourth place.
