Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)
RE: Atheism. The UNscientific belief (part two)
I know JBK is not serious because he said rik showed us how to debate.

Though maybe debating really is just repeating what you believe over and over and over and I'm the crazy one....

I find it impossible to believe that he actually wrote "even as smart as you seem to be" with a straight face. I have to think this is epically subtle trolling, else I'd never sleep again.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The Narcissism...it burns!!!

Little Rik shows the classic symptoms of profound narcissism. At its worst, the narcissist has very little cognitive understanding of anything, for being unable to learn from others on account that he has a history of believing he is perfect, therefore others have nothing to teach him. When confronted by reality, he melts down into a fit of rage, attempting to throw back everything which the world has told him, understanding little of what it means, and saying it for no better reason than he knows it burns.

Calling atheists "unscientific", "irrational", "morons", while understanding nothing - that's the narcissist for you!

Telling a narcissist these things only gives him more shit to throw at others, and that's worse than a waste of time.
Mr. Hanky loves you!

Unscientific and irrational yes.
Morons NO.
Your problem guys is not related to be low in intellect.
It is rather a question to refuse to open your intellect to reality.
You put a barrier between your consciousness and the consciousness behind this physical reality.
As simple as this.
Once a smart person realize that within this physical reality there can not be any permanent peace of mind and happiness he-she would look behind this universal reality.
You may well be intelligent but not smart at all.
What's the point to know what is written in books or to get a degree if at the end of this short life you achieve absolutely nothing?
Now let us talk about narcissism.
Narcissism is build on something that does not really exist while by practicing yoga you build something
real that stay with you all the time.

Let me see if I understand you correctly.....what you are saying is that, basically, in a roundabout way, God is a he-she?

I think that's a bit of a leap to be honest, but a transexual deity is as likely as the rest of them I guess.

Atheists here think that this study is valid because it is done by experts.
Actually i do not say that these experts are a bunch of idiots.
Not at all Sofa.
In fact they must be expert in their field of activities.
The only problem as i already pointed out to you is that they try to enter a field that
is different from their field and therefore require new study which they so far haven't undertaken.
Not only that.
There is a lot more.
Even if you undertake that study that would allow you to understand how that system works is not
certain that you will get any positive result.
Somebody once said......IF YOU WISH GOD TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING TWO "PEOPLE" MUST AGREE....YOU AND GOD.
Considering that that experiment was all about finding out about something not related to what we human think is normal then we are entering God realm if of course we may think God exist.
My understanding is that this experiment if allow to succeed it would go against the principle of learning by
our own effort defeating in this way the purpose of creation.
No wonder it didn't succeed.  Smile

Absolute rubbish, the study into NDE's was run by Dr Sam Parnia....guess what his job is little Prik?  He is the director of resuscitation research at the State University of New York.  I'd say that would make a study into NDE's EXACTLY his field.
Just another point, before the experiment, he believed a load of mumb-jumbo bullshit that you do about an afterlife too....he found no evidence, none.  Not one tiny shred of evidence.
Sounds to me like little Prik is talking bullshit again.

It doesn't really matter how expert Parnia is.
To enter the realm of the outside or outside this physical reality you got to knock the door and then ask the permission to enter.
Not only that.
Even if you follow this protocol there is no assurance that the door will be open to you.
It all depend on the master of the dimension behind this physical reality.
If i would be that entity i wouldn't let Parnia or anyone else to enter just to prove a point.
People first of all must establish a positive interest in that entity.
After all all doors will be open.  Lightbulb
