It doesn't matter if someone is "asking for it". A person can request sex and then refuse it, even during the act. Consenting to sex doesn't mean you have to go through with the entire act.

I agree. Just because someone tells you to stop during the act, doesn't mean they're just gonna go and murder you. I know i wouldn't. I'd stop, and definitely not murder them.

Safe word? Why can't "no, I don't want to do this anymore, stop" be enough? Why does someone need to be "practiced" in not raping someone when they are horny?  

What I don't like is that you're kind of talking as though rape is an accidental thing that just "happens" and a man has no control over it once it's already started, or gotten close to starting. Perhaps that's not what you mean to say, but that's what it sounds like. And that specifically is what I'm taking issue with.

It seems to me like it was more a case of this guy being drunk, and they started something consensual, and when she started struggling he might not have realized this was an indication that she wanted it to stop, instead of just being rough sex. Yes, it's something you have to practice. When your mind is flooded with chemicals, you have to practice at being clear headed enough to know when to stop.

Sex is not a very left brain activity. There's not much intellectualism and objective reasoning going on.

In this case the woman seems to have made a successful career out of getting raped. She knew the guy had an eye for her and she cleverly manipulated the situation to bring them together. Once the incident happened she immediately took steps to publicize it in order to gain even more followers on her web site. Maybe the good news is that men will take notice of her web site and avoid her like the plague. Most likely she will ensnare another guy very soon and claim that she was raped. She's a sexual predator with severe mental problems.

Did I indicate anywhere that I know what happened? In fact, with my comment, I was objecting to those who seem to think they do know what happened, and suggesting she did anything wrong falls within that context.
