Because you have something which an atheist doesn't? What could that be, other than a head full of lies, and zero potential to truly improve anything which is actual in this life!

Ok LadyCampus....
Another way to say that statement: "It's an objective necessary moral truth that an innocent baby should not be tortured for eternity for no crime on it's own with immense torture".
Do you agree with this statement?

The priests of Moloch and the people who relied on them for their crop protection would not agree. This god was followed for longer than Jesus, so far.

Why? What is so bad about living in reality? I hope you don't think I am a sad person or don't feel emotions just because I don't treat fictional metaphor, or pretty and superfluous monuments and old books as objective history or scientific fact.
All religions claim pretty things hand have pretty words and kind motifs in their writings. All religions have pretty artwork and pretty buildings. Still does not make religion itself an necessity to evolution. Still does not make any god real.
Religion is like pretending a kaleidoscope can replace a telescope.

Because your concept of reality is severely constricted if you actually think that only scientifically verifiable facts count as knowledge. I suspect that while you may profess that, you do not actually live as if that were true.

No just the opposite. Scientific method opens doors. If it did not open doors, you would not be typing what you just did. Constricted is clinging to old books of myth. Humans do it, humans should have the right to do it. But history shows what humans once thought was supernatural always ends up getting relegated to the natural world.
That second sentence made no sense whatsoever. Please do tell me how I should live my life.

No just the opposite. Scientific method opens doors. No one is disparaging the modern scientific method or the innumerable technological advances from which we benefit. All I am saying is that life has a qualitative aspect that cannot be analyzed or appreciated on a purely materialistic level. If your only gauge of what counts as reality is your physical and material well-being, then you have summarily discarded the entire world of inner personal life that cannot be reduced to physical facts.

Do you agree with this statement?
Again...no. Do -I- personally think that it is wrong to torture a baby? Of course. Where we disagree is you calling it an 'objective necessary moral truth,' because it's NOT an 'objective truth,' it is a subjective feeling. This was explained to you already but apparently you still don't understand.
