I've been unable to find anything out about that, odds are they were not. They were probably rigged to jam upon firing.

If the guns and ammo were not operational then I would only convict him of a possible conspiracy to commit murder, but only if he was charged with it.

From high level sources which I won't say, ISIS is here in the US right now, which the media doesn't want to talk to. I wouldn't say this guy is one of them, but just another example of Jihad ideology where if you kill non believers, you gain points in the afterlife at least when it comes to Islam. Part of the problem is people are scared to say Islam is violent, and through political correctness, they are self censoring themselves to appease social cohesion and acceptance through socially engineered norms. Why this muslim would want to kill Masons is not quite clear yet, rather than others... As far as the FBI getting this guy to go along is not new either. Another main example happened with Emad Salem back in New York in 1993. I'd be curious if any of you know about that one.

I don't think people are scared to say Islam is violent. Just that not every muslim is a terrorist. Would a typical protestant christian want to be compared to the KKK? Probably not. We have a presidential candidate that thinks all muslims should be banned from entering the country, and wants to build a wall on the mexican border. America has a problem with xenophobia.

Yep glad they stopped it. Oh and look, done by that tyrannical big bad evil gubment too. Other plots done by white non Muslims have been stopped too.

Not to mention that the Oregon shooter at the college who killed 9 was not Muslim. Neither was Dillon Roof, neither was the PP shooter.
This really is no different then when some moron wants to pop their spouse and ends up trying to hire an under cover cop.
Mass shootings happen because of ease of access to guns, regardless of mental illness, political or religious motives. We only notice the times they do happen and ignore all the times law prevents them.

YES currently the Koran is used by far too many people to justify politically motivated violence. YES, right now in human history one region of the world is more politically violent than the west. But I accept ALL religions as the volcanos they can be, some more active currently than others.
You remove western secular common law, it would not take our right wing Christians long to make us like the politically motivated Middle East.
Religion in all it's forms in all of human history will cause human divisions. There is no polite way to put it. You can rightfully go after a current climate that produces more theocratic violence, but the root cause of it is the same, humans flawed perceptions leading to bad conclusions that lead to human divisions that lead to violence.
Religion allows assholes like Trump to sell fear, the same fear Imams sell to Muslim populations. The only thing preventing our nuts from the same theocratic violence to the same degree is secular law. The west is hardly perfect and most certainly has it's own transgressions we need to accept and face and work to reduce.
Religion in the west became more civil, not because of religion, but in spite of religion.

Somebody just had to fucking bring up the word "Muslim".

Hold on now, CONTEXT.
It is not wrong to point to Islam and say, "Hey assholes, stop picking up your holy book to look for excuses to be violent pricks".
I only say that it is wrong to single out Muslims. The only difference between the east and the west is secular law. But the underpinnings of prior Christian theocracies are still justified in the bible. The west became more civil, not perfectly civil, but more civil, in spite of Christianity, not because of it.
The books of Abraham, all three, are the same god character, who is tribal and jealous and does not take kindly to dissent, and will only at best, treat the non club member as a pet our house guest.

I don't think it's any secret that there are ISIS supporters in the U.S. No "high level sources" required.
