Interesting weekend, but not scintilating ;did not get to do any dancing. Drank a lot of coffee and had some great conversations, one lasting 8 hours..Can't think of why,but those activiies did not have quite the same je ne c'est quoi.
On Sunday, went up the coast a bit and took a few shots of cyclone damage which I will post when I get home.
Next flight is at 1335 to Melbourne then a 1735 fligh to Adelaide.
I may be a grumpier-than-usual-old-prick by the time I get home around 1845. (left her place at 0730)

Finally hobbled through the door at 2000 hours.Three flights, all of which had at least one gate change and two of which were late.
Thought it best not to spend a lot of time on line that night.
It's now 1345 Wednesday and I'm feeling much better. Today I bought a car: A 4 years old Toyota Camry; 4 cylinder 2.4 litres. It's red, because I love red cars. Pleased because I knocked them down $1500 on the ticket price, bringing it to the price the auto club technical guy said it should be. I pick it up Friday, after it's registered.
PS any Americans will have a heart attack if I tell you what I had to pay.--I think, tell me what such a car would cost in the US.

Ticket price at a dealer.Bought mine from a Toyota dealer because our consumer protection laws do not cover auctions or private sales. I have 48 hour 'cooling off 'period during which time I can cancel the deal with no fees or charges AND I get a 3 month warantee set by law..
I ask from curiosity,as it's my perception that new and therefore used cars are cheaper in the US. I think your taxes are less and you have greater economy of scale. The cheapest new car here is the Hyundai Getz,(bottom of the range), a tiny car, 1400cc, $14000 new.
I pick my Camry up Friday. I will post photos then.
