Sorry to inform you CL, but I have tried to join several Christian forums, including a Catholic one. I was banned from every one of them.

I was extremely courteous, never used anything close to foul language, did not insult anyone, responded honestly to every question, never tried to lie about who I was, etc, etc. 

My membership would last exactly up to the point when I pointed out the fallacies and flaws in the arguments I was getting.

Exactly.  I've never gotten kicked off of any religious forums, but even on something as generic as ReligiousForums.com, I was told "I do not match their mission statement" because I insisted on pointing out when things said by theists made no sense whatsoever.  I was nice about it, but apparently, disagreeing with a theist or pointing out their logical fallacies, is the same as attacking people.

So I gave up.

Re bolded text: I've been there and done that. Looking back, the response I got was nothing to warrant surprise. The Methodist minister, who I had not previously met, was recommended based on his local reputation for his knowledge and open attitude toward the ideas and practices of multiple world religions, and he did agree to meet with me. As soon as I questioned why I should believe any of them really know anything on an actual god, much less a "One True God™" our meeting ended abruptly. I had already done my own research on other world relgions and my knowledge of multiple Christian sects was from my upbringing. None of my questions were answered, the meeting was a complete waste of time for both of us.

It wasn't until I began seeking assistance with evaluating my employment potential through a federal agency that I met a veteran with PTSD and his aunt, both with high intelligence and inquisitive understanding for people who were living on welfare that I finally began to learn a few things about our fantasies of a Big Daddy in the sky.

Same here.  I've talked to numerous ministers and none of them have any answers.  They all say you have to have faith and not ask questions.  It doesn't matter how liberal they say they are in their theology, eventually it comes down to blind faith.  That is not an acceptable answer.

That wasn't my experience.... the group I was in previously really enjoyed questions.

There was a number of very smart and rational people there.   We didn't have all the answers, but had no problem admitting weaknesses either.  It was a good forum, until administration mucked it up.

And you didn't answer the question that I asked.  Could the theists provide any rational answers to the religious questions put to them?  It was a nice dodge but it doesn't actually help your position.  Either you can answer the questions or you cannot.  It doesn't matter how much you try to deflect claiming people were "very smart and rational", it matters if you can answer the questions.

We both know you can't.

I'm sure you thought you could in any case.  Whether the people who asked the questions were satisfied with your answers, that's another matter.
