Yeah... well... Dog and cat, sure, but we could argue about how it compares to cow. The main problem with cow is that it is still very moist, but I don't think it intrinsically smells very nasty.

Hogs are the worst IMO. You can smell that shit for miles. Yuck.

Peanuts aren't nuts; they're legumes. I know this because I'm severely allergic to nuts, but peanuts and I are juuuuust fine... unless, of course, they're processed around actual nuts. Thank God (really? can people say that with a straight face in a situation such as mine? I've literally almost died from anaphylaxis way too many times) for FALCPA.

A few years ago, my sister and I were in Vegas for a show at the Cosmopolitan Boulevard Pool (one of my favorite ever concert venues... until it burned down last year), and we decided to eat there. We stopped when we saw the tapas place, and didn't hesitate to go in. As always, I had to comb the menu of as many details as possible and ask a ton of questions, but I'm not usually as nervous as I was at the moment I glanced "walnut dust" as a menu ingredient. WALNUT DUST???

I expressed my concern to the server, and she asked if she could put in a drink order while she spoke with the chef. My sister and I looked at each other, gave each other the, "maybe you shouldn't even be in this room, Becca" look, but ordered a pitcher of sangria anyway. I mean... sangria! 

We continued to peruse the menu for a minute before the server came back and told us they had a side kitchen for situations such as these, and they'd be sure to take care of me. I had decided some time earlier, however, that I wasn't going to eat anything there. Maybe my sister would want something, though, and there was always the sangria we had ordered... that was until the server came back and asked me if I would be ok with pine nut liqueur, as that was one of the ingredients in the sangria. PINE NUT LIQUEUR??? I worked behind a bar for almost a decade and I had never even heard of such a mean, sharp-toothed, vengeful animal. 

We tipped the server (she did save my life, in a way), hightailed it out of there, and ate elsewhere.

Yea I grew up on a farm. I know the smell. We never had more that 4-6 at a time but our neighbor a few miles up had tons of hogs. I was so glad when we moved.
