This highlights a general difference between theists and sceptics.
Theists generally seem stuck in the old mindset that the earth is the centre of the universe, or that the earth pretty much is the only important thing with everything else being a backdrop. This is often given away by interchangeable use of "world" and "universe".
Sceptics seem to be able to accept that our planet, and the life on it, are as much of a backdrop as anything else. It's the only place known that has information; therefore, it's the center of the universe. No need to restate the big numbers stellar 'things' again. Atheist are stuck on neanderthal grunt level thinking, like 'me see big rock, me throw big rock, big rock smashing'.
Atheist Credo: A universe by chance that also just happened to admit the observer by chance.

Here we go, another theist preechur who has absolutely no facts to share, resorting to playground insults. Jeebus followers sure do like to insult and judge anyone who dares to disagree with them. Nearly every preechur who comes to this site ends up trying to insult our intelligence, and then runs away and probably tells everyone he knows about how he was victorious over all the stupid atheists. There are so many - it's so predictable.

If I were to wind up in Hell, presumably none of these true-believers would be there to gleefully say "See! I told you! Ah..haha ha ha ha!"

That really says a whole lot of nothing, snowtracks. We've barely begun to explore space. If other complex lifeforms exist, we may simply not have contacted each other given the vast distances involved and the sheer number of other stars. Saying it's the only known place makes it a big non sequitur. What we currently know has zip impact on any truth to the idea that the earth is the center of our universe. It is the center of the known universe. That and $6 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbuck's.

Wait, the people warning others about the illogic of extrapolating from a sample size of one are the idiots?

The irony of it all is only less than 1% of the earths population gets into heaven while everyone else is in hell in some religion we never heard of.

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

The irony of it all is only less than 1% of the earths population gets into heaven while everyone else is in hell in some religion we never heard of. Actually, it's a large minority. To know those kinds of statistics, it handy to know eschatology - https://www.wordnik.com/words/eschatology
Creation is always linked to redemption. The reason that some don't take advantage of it is suppression of the truth. Why would anyone do that? To resist God's authority. Why would they want to do that? To maintain sinful beliefs and actions ... and they may not aware of it since 'the human heart is desperately wicked, who can know it' ?

The precise number who get into heaven is 0, for the simple fact that once you're dead, you're dead. There is no such thing as a soul (an idea that grew out of an incomplete reading of Plato), so no "life after death", so no heaven.
