His hopes of becoming President have sagged and melted away just like his waxy goblin face.

One clown more or less in this race doesn't make this anything other than a sad and embarrassing circus.

Bernie's winning Indiana at the moment by over 6% with 64.7% reporting. Polls had him down by 7 points. Still too early to call, but it could be another Michigan.

But.
But... ...God told Cruz and his father that Ted should run. Just like he did a number of other Repub candidates who have now pulled out. What a cunning bastard that god person is... Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" 
Was he the person that couldn't become President anyway? Something to do with his citizenship IIRC, or maybe I am getting him confused with someone else.

Trump kept saying this, but Trump also said that Obama couldn't be President. Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father. By law, he gained American citizenship at birth, because his mother was an American. The constitution states that only natural born citizens can be President, but it doesn't define what a natural born citizen is, and there hasn't been any Supreme Court case that defines it either. Most legal experts agree that it means anyone who acquired US citizenship at birth, which means anyone who was born to American parent(s) or anyone who was born within the US itself. |
