It has to do with the fact that with the bulk of the primary behind us, Bernie has won well under 50% of the pledged delegates. To think he has any hope of suddenly winning 67% of what little is left is sheer folly. While it is mathematically possible, it is utterly unrealistic. Her lead in pledged delegates is under 300, and there are over 900 left to claim before the primaries are over. Both candidates have to win most of the upcoming battles in order to cement a lead. Furthermore, if she becomes more un-electable between now and July, the supers could very well turn on her.

I'm not ignoring anything. I realize that Hillary is likely to become the nominee. What IS ignoring reality is to act as if that's a foregone conclusion when it's technically still anybody's game and there are multiple ways in which Bernie could still win.

As Hilary correctly pointed out in 2008, Robert Kennedy was assassinated in June so calling for Senator Sanders to quit makes her a hypocrite. And there could be Bosnian snipers trying to get her. I think she just wants to avoid an contested convention which the FBI will cause her to lose when they fully disclose the findings of their criminal investigation.
