How about you emotionally induced, reality-clouding go fuck yourself, dude? If you don't think he can/should win, then fine, but that's no license to be a condescending dick about it. You are not smarter or more mature just because you've resigned yourself to voting for a party puppet.

It has to do with the fact that with the bulk of the primary behind us, Bernie has won well under 50% of the pledged delegates. To think he has any hope of suddenly winning 67% of what little is left is sheer folly. While it is mathematically possible, it is utterly unrealistic. It's not about me being smarter or more mature; it's about you ignoring reality.b

Her lead in pledged delegates is under 300, and there are over 900 left to claim before the primaries are over. Both candidates have to win most of the upcoming battles in order to cement a lead. Furthermore, if she becomes more un-electable between now and July, the supers could very well turn on her.

I'm not ignoring anything. I realize that Hillary is likely to become the nominee. What IS ignoring reality is to act as if that's a foregone conclusion when it's technically still anybody's game and there are multiple ways in which Bernie could still win.

I kind of agree with Min. Hillary is the inevitable winner. Uniting the party is best FOR 2016. I think Bernie may be staying in for the purposes of moving the conversation to the left beyond that.

The same delegates who will elect Hillary will decide the platform.  At this point Bernie is angling to make a speech in prime time and little more.  He could probably get that by supporting Hillary tomorrow.

Maybe he has the integrity to not support a known war criminal. Also way to include uncommitted super-delegates in the number, just like the media has been doing from the start to try to fuck Bernie.

As Hilary correctly pointed out in 2008, Robert Kennedy was assassinated in June so calling for Senator Sanders to quit makes her a hypocrite. And there could be Bosnian snipers trying to get her.
