You're not the only one. I have never owned an MP3/iPod gadget. I still listen to CDs, and yes, I listen to the entire goddamned thing. The musicians put it together that way pursuing their vision, I should give them the respect of listening to their art with their intentions in mind.

I wouldn't wear sunglasses while examining a good painting, either.

Listening for tonight, though, will be Black Sabbath's 1970 Paris show that I d/l'ed from youtube yesterday. I will, however, listen to every fucking note.

Oh I own plenty of MP3-laden gadgets, they're just all full of full albums. I don't think I've so much as touched a compact disc in several years. Everything I've bought since has been lossless FLAC transcoded to 192k MP3.

I suppose I could try recording on my phone and then somehow putting it in my laptop and somehow put it here. :-)

Well put. Especially Pink Floyd Albums and such.
Sometimes I will pull out a few cd's and play 2 or 3 songs from each album, but it has to correspond either by genre or date.
