But right to bear arms isn't inherent?

You have all of them, even the ones you don't know about and haven't thought up yet, even the ones not listed in the bill.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

My question is why guns costs aren't covered through taxes instead of being decided by gun stores like the other rights, and if such a thing was ever proposed if gun advocates would be okay with paying higher taxes to ensure everyone could get a gun if they wanted to, and if not, why not?
Well, ok, I'll bite... Keep the government out of it. A system where the government supplies the guns is a system where the government could someday NOT supply the guns. That's the entire premise of the second amendment, to prevent tyranny.

I was being -slightly- sarcastic. Your rights are protected by taxes, not granted by them. If we're discussing why you don't have to pay to exercise your other rights, you actually do. You're exercising your right to free speech right now, but access to this forum isn't actually free. Gotta pay your isp. Gotta pay the guys who string the lines. Gotta pay the engineers who work the server farms...so forth and so on.
Now sure, you could stand on a box and shout at the top of your lungs (provided you aren't trespassing and/or have paid the rental on the spot where the box sits, and the box isn't stolen)...but you could also make a gun, and if you really wanted to you could make it from shit you can source out in the open on a field, right down to the powder...but it'll be awfully damned poor...just like standing on a box and talking to thin air.

Is this why the conservative is more prone to the 'less government' stance? Although, going by the GOP, the government is already trying to take your guns away with Gun Control measures. So, it seems like you're stuck in a wall. I'm sorry if my questions come across as basic, or just dumb, but (taking the piss earlier aside) they come from a genuine desire to learn. Not directed at me, and I wouldn't know why conservatives are more prone to the less gov stance (not a conservative)....but I'll let Jr. tell you why a redneck like me is prone to the "less of everybody but me and mine" in my life. Probably plenty of overlap.
