That's just Southern Europe tbh, sun's out 95% of the time even in not-"winter"
(Actually I don't know about Portugal, is it wetter being on the Atlantic coast?)

Lovely photos though, how pretty, I love historical sites

I wish I had the patience with languages but I just don't. Shame, Romance languages are so beautiful.

Well... to be honest, there are a few micro-climate regions along the coast here... Lisbon is a bit lucky for having a mountain to the West, from where most weather comes... gulf of Mexico weather system and all.
And that mountain is called Sintra, lots of water there... lots of nice trees and other greeneries.
Further inland, rain becomes lessened and it can get hot and sunny for long periods. However, global warming is messing with things...

I'm very jealous from an astronomy point of view hehe... but there's a catch.
The longer it stays without rainfall, the more particulates hang around in the atmosphere and the worse the picture gets.

With a little bit of luck, you may find that some of those jobs don't require knowledge of Portuguese... (but it is a nice extra)
I'm not sure this method works... but... feel free to try!

Great pics Poca! Better than the sanitariums in the US.

Wow Poca, beautiful pics. I love architecture and beautiful old buildings. Those were amazing. Cute grasshopper friend! They are usually pretty shy around here.

Myself at a wedding tonight:
Edit: Yes, that is:
A) a purple glowstick on my right wrist
B) a green/yellow glowstick on my left wrist
C) my 8th drink in my hand

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.
