We all come here for many different reasons. Most of us stay for the same reasons.

I was searching the net for supporting evidence against the no true atheist/polygraph lie and checked this place out. Seemed like a good mix of sane and insane so I decided to hang around.

Mainly Facebook, where I communicate with family and play Pearl's Peril, and Twitter, which is mostly women's soccer for me, but also men's soccer, comedy (Buzzfeed alums, Facts. staff, etc) gymnastics, news, etc.

I was on a space science board a few years ago, but it was hacked and the damage to the database was so severe they just shut it down.

I'm active on a travel/ground transportation board (not that I travel)

I'm active on a board for collectors of old electronics

I pretty much only lurk on a space exploration board, the moderation there is so severe and abusive I rarely post there

Several manufacturers and service providers have boards relevant to their products/services, and I'm adept at finding them if I have a problem they might be able to help with
