Hi everyone,

I'm an emigré from another forum which is currently in the process of dying a slow death, so I find myself here.  I'm 28, male, Irish and I was raised in a moderately observant, conservative Catholic family.  My disillusionment with the Church began early in life - I remember finding my First Confession a very silly exercise.  It only snowballed from there.

Anyway, this seems like a nice, open forum and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better.
