Duck, cover, call for back up.
After all, they are supposed to be the trained ones aren't they?
That badge is not a license to kill.

So when an armed psychopath breaks into your home and has critically wounded your wife and children who now need medical care ASAP to survive, you'll be perfectly ok with the police showing up, standing 10ft from the situation, then pulling back and calling for backup and then slowly sorting out who fired what when before making any attempt to help victims because we wouldn't want to mistake that psychopath for some old man taking pot shots at strangers on his patio (which by the way is illegal). That's good to know. If it were my wife inside the house, I'd want them returning fire and getting in there to help those in need, but that's just me.
Oh and BTW, they didn't kill the guy so guess they fell a bit short on the whole badge being a license to kill thing with this one eh'?
Are you two seriously ganging up on Min?
That's funny. This is vol 2. American cops are fucked. And remember, it's only since mobile phones came out that they've been getting caught. Imagine how bad it was before that. In my opinion, Min doesn't think every single cop is bad. He's a smart guy, give him some credit. Nice try though. :-)
Johan is making excellent points.

Some of them are, yes but they also catch a lot of flak for taking perfectly justified action in a lot of cases. We give Minimalist a lot of credit. He's an excellent member. But that doesn't mean we're not allowed to question or criticise certain views of his. I'm sure they'll be reprimanded for their piss-poor marksmanship. You know, if you check out the Gun Nut thread you'll see that even the NRA says that a major rule is to always KNOW what you are shooting at. Blasting away at random at a house seems to fall a bit short on that one.
So this was reported today.

I guess a 50% correct hit rate is enough for the cop lovers? I wonder how the woman with the bullet in her head feels about it? If she can feel anything. RE: Fucking Cops: Volume II

Let me be clear. I'm on your side. There are way too many incidents of cops hurting innocent people and way too little accountability when it happens. But just because I feel that way doesn't mean I'm the kind of person who says fuck the circumstances, cops are always the guilty ones in every single case. I honestly don't know if that's who you are, but it definitely isn't who am nor who I would ever want to be. Sorry. If you want to label me a cop lover because of that, well I guess whatever floats your boat. Shrug.
Fair enough, forgive me for jumping to conclusions. :-)

How many lies does it take to make a liar? To wit: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national...-1.2735539 Quote: When I announced earlier this morning that I was writing a piece on her story, I received a reply asking, "Will it help me understand the outrage over this? She had a shotgun aimed at police, white or black you are going to get shot." As the old adage goes: When one lie is detected a thousand are suspected. |
