Because certain factions within BLM are encouraging violence towards whites, particularly police officers for political aims. Rioting doesn't exactly help their cause either, however it's a decentralised movement so only certain factions, so to speak, should be classified as such. BLM is definitely a movement that should be monitored as a whole though.

Believe me, if there ever was a group called the "White liberation movement", there would be cries of racism from abaris. Which does suggest double-standards, or should I say in French, "deux poids, deux mesures."

That is why I have had him on ignore for the last two weeks. You can explain your position until you are blue in the face, but he will not budge from his extreme liberal left, guardian-reading views. Furthermore, those ( more than 20,000) who are from a Rom (Gypsy origins in Romania and Bulgaria) have been expelled from France, however, when it comes to people without papers who are from former French colonies and have no paperwork are allowed to apply for citizen status. We have a liberal lefty...Do you read any newspapers like the Guardian or watch any channels that have a particular bias? For example, it happened to a friend of mine once in a nightclub. He was minding his own business with his girlfriend and then these two black guys started on him for one reason or another. To cut a long story short, he suffered a broken jaw, split lip and bruising above his eye. Guess what happened next. Yup, the police interviewed the aggressors and they made up a story about him giving them some racist abuse (I know full well that he isn't and never will be) and they let them go. This brings us back to the "white privilege thread", where all is not what it seems. Remember, all you know or want to know is from the large cities and not some town in England, but it does go on.

Wait...are you calling me a 'liberal lefty' because I asked for an example?  You don't seem to know anything about me, Robert. And I read a bunch of different news sources, though not usually UK ones, to be honest (as I live in the US).  And one anecdote from you doesn't really have any bearing on your statement that I bolded.

Look, Robert, all I did was ask you to support your very broad and sweeping statement.  If you want to pick a handful of extremely left wing articles or websites (like the 'International Socialism Journal' that you just linked) I'm sure you can find some crazy things.  But to say that 'any liberal left literature' one might read purports that all white people are racist, is a little ridiculous, don't you think?

It's as ridiculous as if I hand picked a few nutty white-nationalist articles and claimed that it was indicative of the entire 'conservative right.'
