I don't believe you. Get over it.
I am staying on topic. I didn't troll or flame anyone excessively. I did nothing wrong so far. I presented my arguments as to why no one should feel ashamed to consume a public figure's intellectual output, no matter the figure or the output. One could argue against such a figure's views, but one shouldn't argue against one's preference for such figures. That's indefensible, I think.
If anyone thinks I broke any rules or anything like that, they're welcome to alert staff to it, but I do not appreciate being silenced in this manner. I don't worship him, but I do greatly admire him in the way I admire anyone who can invoke thoughts and ideas that I have never considered before. [emoji846] I feel the same way about a lot of members here, in fact. [emoji8]

I don't worship Sam either, nor would he care if anyone did. I certainly think he's smarter than me and I respect him a lot. Well, maybe smarter is not the best word. Let's say better educated.
Just being honest. (September 5, 2016 at 1:52 pm)abaris Wrote:(September 5, 2016 at 1:49 pm)LadyForCamus Wrote: GOD, I'm already sorry I posted this. Science as well as history and his personal life story, which is an interesting one. And most of all I like him for his humor. |
