NO more blind dates!
I've gone back and forth on the idea of the death penalty, but I've decided that I am entirely against it in even the worst cases by now. This piece of shit does deserve plenty of punishment otherwise, though. I'm sure we could get creative.
I don't believe you. Get over it.
Shoot the cunt.

He can be made to spend the rest of his his time cleaning up civilization and contemplating his companions of garbage.

Yeah, I used to be very pro-death-penalty, and I still hold for two instances where I think it's apt:
1) Child-molesters who kill their victims. If you're both a pedophile and a murderer, that's it, don't pass GO, don't collect two hundred dollars. 2) People involved in murder-for-hire. if you value money more than life, you're incurable. I will freely admit that my rationales in both cases are based emotionally and can't really be defended logically, so don't ask me to do so. In all other capital cases, I think life imprisoned on an island, in general population, with livestock, seeding and building supplies flown in every so often so the inmates can assure their own food and shelter, is fine. Maybe give 'em some books, too, I dunno. Make sure the island is beyond swimming distance, and use Coast Guard patrols as training for the CG recruits and midshipmen.
I think it's more of a punishment for a child molester to go to jail tbh, because they get (putting it lightly) bullied by the other inmates.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie
First, the good news, she survived.
Secondly, I was surprised that this is even newsworthy on here until I saw it was a Nigerian man. Now I know the reason why. That should rather read serial killers. Hitman aren't incurable, they're doing it just for the money. Serial killers on the other hand are predators, doing it for the thrill. I'm not for capital punishment in any case. Locking them away does the same job and there's always a margin of error in convictions. Can be corrected if the person is jailes, cannot be corrected if the person is six feet under. |
