The GOP voters have been bitter since Nixon and there is enough old white money still funding that party.
Only TWO presidents since Reagan have cut the dept and created consistent jobs. None of them were republicans. So what you are seeing now with Hillary is simply a carry over of Obama. The same bullshit commie chicken little, the sky is falling, they are going to grab all our guns, Merka first scapegoating bullshit aimed at him, is now aimed at her.
We've always been a nation of migrants. Gun laws were actually far stricter in the old west and the NRA was sane and really a safety org when it started. What you are seeing now are a bunch of rich old assholes finally realizing they cant use the same old scams and scare tactics. They are in panic mode and all they can do is double down on social issues and religion. The problem for the GOP is that the younger generations are not buying their bullshit. Trump is only competing because there is just enough of a minority in his base right now. But he does not represent the majority when you take out the social issues and ask voters questions without stating a political label.
Powell has rightfully condemned him along with 50 former GOP law agents. He has had a billionaire far richer than him, Mark Cuban call his tactics "Headline Porn". So when someone calls me a "libtard" fine, what do you say when those in the GOP agree with me, and not you?
I cannot repeat this enough. Trump is beyond political party and economic differences now. He has peddled nothing but hate and fear in his run and it is nothing anyone in the civilized west who values the concept of peaceful transfer of power should want as a political tactic. He is not Jerry Springer or Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh or Bill Maher. He is running for our highest office and only an idiot would think that such a bombastic, narcissistic demagogue would be fit for office. I cuss like a sailor myself as anyone knows, but I am also not running for office nor would I because I understand the difference between the private sector and the calm diplomacy it takes to run a country and keep global stability. His language isn't "telling it like it is". His rhetoric is toxic to the concept of civility and peaceful transfer of power.
