Are you saying verses I posted are not in the bible or that they don't count because they don't match whatever belief you hold?

I think he's saying women are slaves.

The efforts I've gone to in the past to dig up Bible quotes that contradict the quotes the other person is swinging around.

That's ok. I didn't have to look mine up and I didn't post them in order to contradict anyone. I was giving my honest assessment of the value of Christian humility and sharing how it has affected my life. Whether people can see it or are willing to believe/accept it humility is all to often used as a weapon against vulnerable people (especially children) as a tool to shame/guilt them into acting a certain way and doing certain things.

The trodden worm curls up. This testifies to its caution. It thus reduces its chances of being trodden upon again. In the language of morality: Humility.

Only if one is a worm and one is a human. A trodden person ought learn to stand taller. Curling up only increase the risk of being stepped on again.

The proverb you quote is correct. However what I was pointing out was that Christ washed the feet of his disciples. He also said

“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them. it shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Because, He said such things He was hated and was killed as a criminal. The most humiliating end. Yet this “Criminals” message lives on.
The call to humility is for all both men and women. The proverb must be taken in the cultural context of the time.
Finally two people who really love each other will only want to do things for each other, no tab is kept, but rather competing with each other in serving the one they love.

To me you're only furthering my point. I don't believe any of that actually happened but it's a nice story to push humility as a virtue. Guilt people into feeling lessor so they'll think they need you to give them value. It's tricky.
