I live an almost cash-free existence. Using cash is too much of a pain what with my lack of fingers. This was Meals-on-Wheels which I get delivered about noon, four days a week. It's mostly cafeteria grade food, but I'm not real picky, and it helps by reducing the number of meals that I have to fix for myself each week.

History

Meals on Wheels originated in the United Kingdom during the Blitz, when many people lost their homes and therefore the ability to cook their own food.
