And definitely, the majority of pro-independence voters want Scotland to remain in the EU.

How would that work? Would a vote for independence nullify the Brexit vote for Scotland as far as the EU is concerned, or would Scotland have to apply for admission to the EU after severing ties with the UK?

I would imagine it's the latter as Scotland would identify as its own new sovereign nation and would need to apply for entrance to EU.  Either way it goes it's messy.

That you continue to attack me, though cleverly worded and we ALL know what you're doing, should be grounds for your IMMEDIATE dismissal. That you took a two day break from the heat you got, only makes you more of a monster.
You are a POS.

Well actually, from what I have read, the EU countries can vote and just allow Scotland to basically skip the admission process and continue as we are at the moment. So yeah Crossless, it would nullify the Brexit vote in Scotland but as soon as one EU country votes against that, Scotland would have to officially reapply to join and go through all the trouble everyone else goes through to join the union.

Oh if that is the case that could be ideal and probably all the more reason the referendum will pass.

A few months ago Gibraltar was saying that they would oppose any negotiations with the Scottish Government, the reason being that they would deal with the British Government only. But recent-ish news suggests that Gibraltar has conducted private discussions with Scottish officials about the whole thing. I won't bother making any predictions, I just hope that Scotland votes to stay in the UK if we do get this second referendum.

CIJS - It's making me far too happy seeing these photos of this guy who bullied me in school, and seeing how fat he's got and how rapidly his hairline is receding at 22.
