Passenger aircraft are typically pressurized at about 8 psi. I imagine it would affect heat convection more than heat conduction ... but these phones seem to be cooking off at ground pressures too.

Doesn't that scare you, knowing that there are people who are willing to disregard the rules and peoples lives just because they cannot use their telephone during a 1-2 hour flight (I say this since it takes just over an hour to fly to Birmingham from Paris.)?

It doesn't scare me more than flying in general. Don't know why I'm so afraid of flying. Probably because my first one was in a vintage liner with 4 propellers when I was but a child and the plane dropped and rose constantly in wayward air pockets. I'm not even sure it was pressurized at all, since rising and falling hurt everyone's ears.

Well, if I dwelt on everything fearful in this world, I'd hardly get out of bed.

The first time I went on the plane was back in 2010 when I was 37 years old so, I was a pretty late developer. However, it didn't really bother me that much considering I am more inclined to be scared of being a passenger in a car on a motorway. The only thing that bothers me about flying is the popping that goes on (made worse since my first flight happened when I had a heavy cold and my nose was blocked ever so often.)

I'll be honest. The thing that scares me most in life is your typical human being in a motorised vehicle using their telephone at 100 mph on a motorway.

My sister in law just took a job with Samsung 2.5/3 weeks ago. They offered her a 7 for her business phone, she took the 5. Tomorrow is her typical call my wife day. It may be interesting. Cease production, banning, ....................
