Car enthusiast or love cars and fixing them this game is for you.
I present to you one of the most realistic driving games of the year my summer car.
It is a brutal car game if you get into a accident you will die now that being said you get to build a car from the ground up
including the engine. I had lots of fun playing this and for a game that is not even fully released yet you can pick it up on steam
for less than 20 dollars.

video going through the whole car building process.

protip make sure you tighten your halfshaft to your engine i made this mistake 3 times already.
Also even a if one screw is not tightened on your engine it will ruin all of your hard work.

haha that's awesome!

Now let's make a version for new cars: "Okay, dont' bother cuz you don't have a $30,000 computer. Start saving your money, and look for a market for your firstborn!"

You know, if I played a game on building a car, better make it a real one. My father was a trained mechanic since 1940 and he let me in on the secrets of his trade. Back in the 80ies when I drove cars from the 60ies and early 70ies I knew all about taking them apart and putting them together again. Given half a chance, I would still drive a car from the 70ies, but today they're luxury products by now. As opposed to the 80ies when you got them for an apple and an egg. I hate todays cars where you have to be a computer expert with the right equipment to keep them going.

When I was 16, my dad gave me his Toyata Tercel (It was around 1989, but it was a few years old already).  He also gave me the manual.  It had schematics for ALL the parts, down to the bolt, step-by-step instructions for how to remove the engine, etc., interestingly written in pretty shitty English.  You could totally do everything yourself (if you had jacks and a good winch), or easily with a couple buddies.

THAT was fun.  I sold that car to my buddy for $300 to buy Stones tickets.  That I don't still own it today fills me with infinite sadness. Sad

The one and only car I already knew would become a classic was this one. Had it between 1984 and 1987.

Same color, but couldn't afford to keep it in running condition. That's on my list of ten things to do before dying, if that means anything to you.

awww sweet.

Man, there are so many simple things I want to experience again if I can-- my first car, early 80's computers, strawberries that taste like strawberry. . . .

Ahhhh.

If you knew how to drive that baby, you could do almost everything. Took a bit of getting used to, but back in the day I happened to know a rally driver, who won the national mastership on that model, who let me in on his secrets. Whoa, the world has never been the same when you knew at what point of a sharp turn to hit the pedal.

Fun fact, it wasn't that powerful. 90 horse powers but a register carburetor that kicked in at a certain number of revolutions. T'was before the times where the cops virtually stood everywhere with their radars and I more than once hit 180 on the road.

I want that baby back so badly, if I only could afford it.

The game itself isn't that graphically demanding at all.

In the game it does  have you building a engine from the ground up.
