About a day's drive from where I live they found human fossils which were around 40,000 years old.

Sorry, that was a joke for "The Hospital", a movie with George C. Scott. People are disappearing from the hospital and showing up days later, murdered. They search frantically for the place where the killer is hiding the bodies. When they finally catch him they ask him where he hid them.
