The moon's formation

The moon's formation
Just read this article in the Guardian, which is talking about computer simulations run which indicate that it is more likely that the moon was formed from the residue of multiple (20 being the number talked about) impacts on the Earth.

Amazing what we can learn, isn't it?

RE: The moon's formation
I disagree completely. The moon most certainly was NOT formed from "residue" of any sort. Saying such is a cop out when one does not want to accept that maybe... just MAYBE, the the moon (along with the stars in the sky) was hand crafted by God as a symbol to us of "light in darkness." Think about it.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Poor C_L is too visually damaged by her medieval beliefs to recognize the truth.  Pretty sure Mohammad had something to do with the moon's formation.  Isn't that right?

No, I created the moon as a threat. I could drop it on you any time I wanted to. The fact that I haven't yet is proof of how generous I am.

Referring to someone's bare butt as a "fool moon" or "mooning" is racist. Not everyone's butt is white, you know.
