Contributions to parties - meaning someone has to consider democrats liveral. That list says nothing at all in lights of both parties being in the pockets of corporate money. It's a bribeocracy by design.

No surprise my fellow farmers are more conservative, I was surprised the cattlemen are so much more conservative than the farmers, though.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Looking at the chart, I'm wondering if people who are more left brained tend to be more conservative and those more right brained tend to be more liberal?
The more artsy type jobs seem to be more blue (architect, chef, librarian, florist, yoga, etc), while the more technical jobs are red (home builder, plumber, pilot, truck driver, surgeon, etc etc). I wonder why that is?

The more money you make, the more likely you are to want to not pay percentages in taxes.
Also, the centers of art are in major population hubs, and I would suspect a lot of your political leanings have to do with who you surround yourself with. It is hard to lean conservative in an art community filled with people who social conservatives want to deny rights to.

Generally the left have always seemed to value "creative industries" more, while the Right favour more hard industry.
I also think the gender split has something to do with it. On the whole (I know, #NotAll) women tend to be more liberal-minded than men, and they're also more likely to do into artsy jobs too.

It seems both sides have jobs that do and don't make good money.
