Trumpcare Flopped

Conveniently forgetting that it was letting them do whatever the fuck they wanted that led to the health care crisis in the first place.

The only way to fix this is single-payer.

But the pubs would rather people die in the streets.

I also note Wellmark lost nearly $100,000,000 last year.

Why don't they fix the ACA, then?  They could, you know. And you are wrong, something the 'pubs passed in 2015 IS affecting you right now.  It's why you have (I'm so sorry) lost your healthcare.

The original ACA bill had provisions to make sure insurers were protected from profit loss.

Can you guess who gutted those provisions? (Hint: Not the Dems)

How Marcio Rubio sabotaged the ACA

Termination date for current plan is 12/31/17

I do roll my eyes when I hear about 'opening up out of state markets' for health insurance companies as I am discovering in the case of Wellmark, they don't even want to offer plans in this state.

As for the Freedom Caucus neutering the Trumpcare plan recently, it seemed any change to garner a Freedom Caucus vote came at the price of losing 2  other 'pub votes already in hand.  Anyone contemplate some changes that might lose 1 Freedom Caucus for every 3 dem votes gained ??

(And why does that sound stark raving mad?)

And I still don't think the 'pubs have had enough 'Romneycare' 'Gingrichcare' and 'Heritage Foundation Care' turds pooped into their mouths yet.

Followup article in World Herald today.

Aetna dropping ACA plans 12/31/17 too.

One company left, Medica, they had no comment on whether or not they were staying in the Iowa market.

Question:

do I have to pay the IRS penalty for being uninsured if there is no insurance for me to purchase ??

Ask the WLB.  It's up to him now.

He hasn't passed a bill yet, still running under the Obama/Hillary/Romney/Gingrich/Heritage Foundation cluster fuck.

I'm eager to append his name to it, but I can't till he soils it too.

Wonder how much health care I can absorb this year and hope it lasts, LOL, the rest of my life . . . .

You don't quite see it, my friend.  They have created the uncertainty around the ACA by screaming about repealing it for the last 7 years.  Insurance companies are notoriously conservative organizations.  They want certainty and the WLB and his piece of shit HHS secretary can make sure they don't get it.

They want it to fail so people like you will go die quietly if you get sick.

Well before anyone even took a Trump presidency seriously, I was getting staggering premium increases, and had to change my physician. From my front row seat the 'fail' considerably predates Trump.

And having my plan canceled last year (yet another fuck up I've endured) just before election day certainly isn't something that can be hung on Trump, timing was entirely on the Dems.

I wonder if there is enough cluster fuck turding around for one of those legal consortiums to jump on for the mother of all class action lawsuits ???

When the lying WLB was running he was out there promising his dolts "super duper cheaper health care for all."  He seems to have forgotten that now and signed on with the republicunt scumbags who have been doing their dead level best to make it collapse or did you not absord the enormities of the fucking Rubio gave the plan a couple of posts above?

Did you not read the stuff I linked you?

Republicans PASSED A BILL that gutted the safety nets that would prevent insurers from suffering staggering losses.  Just months after the bills passed, insurance premiums started going out of control.

They screwed the ACA so this would happen.

You do realise that what you're complaing about is mostly as a result of the gutting of ACA by the Republitraitor controlled legislature under Obama, expressly against his will.

Yes Obama was way too timid in the early days (in a misguided attempt to protect right wing Dems), but blaming him for Republitraitor actions is a bit rich.
