Not a good time for humanity, the ai singularity is here

As an econ major, I take interest in how ai is affecting our world, and how it may affect the job market (including my own potential job).
I get to understand that the "singularity" in ai has taken root, and is now a reality.
The singularity in artificial intelligence is the predicted point in time when ai exceeds humans in intelligence by much, after being able to design itself. We've reached the starting point with google's new "autoML" tech.
