I came across this. Two cops come in about a loud music complaint at four in the morning, and a dog threatens them. They open fire, a cop and a kid get shot. They miss the dog, but the news report states the dog will be euthenized. The teenager died.

I know, right? I'm sure they plan to kill the dog just out of spite. Usually when a dog starts coming at you, he's bluffing. It's very rare that a domesticated animal like that is gonna go for the kill.
