I just finished running the first session of the D&D campaign I've been prepping for. All of the players had fun and didn't have any complaints, so I guess I did a fine job as DM. I really enjoyed how the players handled it as well. All of that anxiety I had built up over it has now been converted into confidence. This is why I spend time on these things.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

Now for the ultimate question:
Which edition?

5th edition. I used to just stick to 2nd because I wasn't a fan of anything since then. 5th has brought it back for me, though.

I am doing Mock Drafts for my big boy fantasy league.
I bought Draft Dominator again this year, and it is better than last year. Only way to mock a Keeper league.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Just visiting my parents. My mum and Rosie, my niece, were watching some stupid ITV piece of shit about posh pets. I walked in to see a wedding for two rat-shaped mutts, in full outfits, in front of this yuppy couple and their handlers friends. According to the budget narrator, it's not a legally-binding ceremony (no! Really?) and it was officaited by some snotty six-year-old larva. "Do you, Pukey (or whatever) take Fluffyjizzball The Third as your 'pawfully' wedded pooch" and "do you Fluffyjizzball The Third take Pukey to be your pedigree chum" ... "You may now sniff the bride" etc etc.
Please kill me.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
