Is my faith so true to you that it is evident that i believe because i so desire the bliss we all seek. What if growing up in this world with its real devices and claims i sought it reasonable to find truth in the things it had. The bible being real and proven to at least be old(would i show reverence to your grandma) i discern to accept an influence, in which we all take influence, that this is the best and that what it holds is true be it the reward for me or the punishment of others, it is not my making and if true is out of my control and yours. As for it being the best, i have come to see the world as incomplete and the goal for most is not good but tickling of sensations and materialistic gain that surly passes away. But this i do not see as good, "evil" justified by simple selfishness an mere existence never contemplating survival but superfluous luxury and wanting said luxury through which by any means necessary. The faith does not even consider the pain in which you so desperately brought up to justify yourself, it is of concern that are fearful for all have the evidence, for reason is only for the self accepting truth not for truth itself.

Less authentic=less driven by natural means and more artificial (with the root meaning of artifice in place).

My issue is that no one book gets it all right and the bible has so much that either never was right or is no longer applicable in modern society; clinging to it is a playbook for bad practice.

What should i believe in or instead what should i know that you don't already know? What if difference is this very subject that you are so trying to make me the same.

That's just the problem CRod, I have nothing to say to that post. You seem to believe it made some sort of sense, but it did not. Are you arguing for a feeling (I feel like taking a shit in my neighbors lawn, but the universe was not created by a giant turd)? Arguing that the bible is true because it is old (I've got some links to cave paintings showing man in flight, with bird wings..must have happened, it's really old)? Or are you just griping against excess and wasteful consumerism (as though christianity were some sort of counter-point to this)?

If you buried a valid point about god or the nature of belief in that jumble it's lost on me.
