This is why I prefer the sobriquet "the Chump", and don't even capitalize the "t".

Last night, Dad was watching some news footage of some woman in Puerto Rico calling Trump out over his lack of response over the situation in Puerto Rico (behind a lot of crates of water bottles). I was walking by and Dad asked me if a Puerto Rican is eligible to run for President. Apparently, it seems that unless they're old enough to remember us bombing Hiroshima first-hand, the answer is yes, though they can't vote in a presidential election or send people to Congress, but they can vote in primaries.

If think you mean the Mayor of San Juan, the video doesn't show her calling the dumbass out, it just show her asking for help, pronto. T.rump's response was idiotic and paranoid.
Sir, you insult paranoid idiots. Have you no shame?

Honestly, I wasn't sure at first if she was the mayor, since I didn't see any names, and she looked a bit more haggard than the official portrait (I suppose several years [during which she may have started going through menopause], having to deal with the aftermath of a hurricane that's being ignored by the President, and possible digital degradation is likely to do that to a person's looks). Then I saw the image I saw on TV last night in Google Image Search (with canned foods and not bottled water), and I honestly was just passing through on my way to the bathroom, so I wasn't really listening too closely. But, while she doesn't directly calling him out, you can clearly see her doing her damnedest to hold herself back from biting his hand while she still hopes it can feed her people. I hope she can potentially run for President, even if she is a member of a party that opposes Puerto Rico being a full-fledged 51st state. She'd clearly do a much better job than the jackass currently running things.

I'll be damned if I'm going to be the fucking lightning rod in this thread asking what the hell they did with the $70,000,000,000 . . . .

She'll probably use the fact that her city, and the whole island, was trashed and the feds had their thumbs up for a week at that point as an excuse, right? |
