I'm not worried about "some of your ideas" cross sectioning. Some of mine do too. Some of everyones ideas cross section with everyone elses..we can;t all disagree on everything. I;m talking specifically about the one thing, the unmistakable trace of your having swallowed a specific party line of theirs for reasons that..when you explain them, you explain the same way, and that are entirely and completely wrong for the same reasons not having a thing to do with party allegiance or politics.
As I said, this simply isn't how it went down. I've never had any real exposure to the media of the right. I watch Bill Maher and Stephen Colbert, not Geraldo River or Bill O'Reilly. It was in watching the first Southpark episode about the PC Principal that I recognized that particular brand of douche from my own experiences, and I believe I saw the term SJW right here in these forums, though I can't exactly remember.

This is a mischaracterization of many right-wing views. Not all right-wingers are bigots, nor are all -- or even most -- of them more inclined to removing the freedoms of the people. I think they may have different liberties in their sights, but
It should also be pointed out that history is littered with examples of leftist totalitarian states. While bigotry itself is not generally a characteristic of a leftist state, it did and does exist; ask a Jew from the Soviet era of Russia's history, or a Uighur in current-day China.

I suppose there's all kinds of exposure, from all kinds of places. That's how a social species with advanced communication skills works. Otherwise, ideas wouldn't change.
I'm done with this line of conversation. I'm telling you I arrived at these ideas on my own, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't due to exposure from the right. You can disbelieve me or suspect that I've been influenced without knowing it. But 10 pages of "No I wasn't" "Yes you were" is unlikely to produce anything interesting for either of us.

Then you arrived at a set of contradictory ideas. You're an sjw that has issues with "sjw culture". Fine, if you say so, but when you explain why you say so, it goes beyond "no I wasn't", and "yes you were". I've bought shitty ideology before, thinking it was my own, to my eternal shame. I'm shouting up from the gutter, with a message of caution - not trying to deride you from on high. How much is your pride worth to you? It was worth everything to me...I was still wrong.
