Band practice this morning. Jazz band director got hold of a particularly good arrangement of the Beatles' "Get Back" for us to work on.

Then I came home and napped. For 4 razzafracking hours. I was tired.

When I dragged myself out of bed at about 6 p.m. I worked on the study and got Fibreglass insulation cut and installed in 7 wall sections .

Finally, I went on a drive down to the observatory and hung out there for a while, and added M57 (Ring Nebula in Vega), M31 (Andromeda Galaxy) and what appears to be M32 (small galaxy very close to the Andromeda Galaxy) to my finds. First time I've used the 16" Meade LX200 scope at the observatory.

Marveling that fucking DirecTV FINALLY is airing RFD-TV in glorious HD.

Also pondering hypothetical mass casualty events that the US guvmint probably isn't ready to defend against . . .

slept all weekend. like literally on the couch, didn't move except for pee breaks and some food, otherwise I was out like a light. Went to bed at 7:30 and got the longest uninterrupted span of sleep I've gotten in about 4 days: 5 hours! huzzah!

Now to make it through today...
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
