I wouldn't be bringing the kids, but I'm their primary caregiver. I can't drive too far in case there's an emergency.

We might have to have two east coast meetups I guess.

Unless you consider Myrtle Beach SC I really couldn't. I would say out of all the east coast cities, MB would be one of the cheaper cities. It has a aquarium and Alligator adventure farm.
