Most people I meet usually come to the conclusion I'm a devious cvnt, which is probably why I got no friends. Except these two cats who come visiting all the time. And the Mrs - "God" only knows how she puts up with me! This what you are seeing here is me turning over a new leaf - I am actually trying my best to say what I really think (rather than the BS I've been putting out all my life in order to get dosh and stuff). And look where it's fvcking getting me!!!
I think I would rather be honest with myself...tried being a BS aritst a few times in the past 30-40 years and I always get into trouble with it. Don't know what you are whinging about...the rest of the forum are not dismissing you out of hand..

Religion is not the same as belief in deities. Religions can be atheistic. Please stop conflating the two, they are not synonymous.

How is that the same as you have been saying? And if you have been saying this before, then why do you keep confusing the two?

What's great about atheism? Nothing. Atheism isn't a thing to have an opinion on other than whether or not you find rejecting claims about the existence of god to be justified or not. If you want to ask me what's so great about 'skepticism' or 'metaphysical naturalism' you'd get answers more along the lines of what you were expecting.

I do not now and have never made either of those claims.Nor have I actually run across many atheists stupid enough and arrogant enough to do so.
In fact, 'as an atheist' I make no claims of any kind, about anything. I assert only:"I do not believe in god(s) due to lack of credible evidence"
Due to various philosophical, and ideological positions, as well as a broad world view,I have an opinion on many things. Most of my opinions are almost certainly wrong or incomplete, as is the case with most human beings.

Or maybe he's just a clown, who knows..?
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
