I'm new here, so I wasn't sure where to put the following quote. I alternatingly wanted to laugh and cry while reading it. Mostly cry, especially relating to the part about "YOU SHALL GO TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL, hahahah."

U want evidence: when I pray to him I get what I want. Whoever in scared he's comforted me. I'm not crazy okay. He's shown me the right way. Even kids that go to public school believe inGod. The only way u believe in God is have faith. In only choosing nest answer for people who believe. Cus he's real to me and s lot of people believe. So basically, she threatens atheists with hell and offers no proof, says her prayers come true (without proof or examples), uses an argument from popularity, claims that she cannot be racist because she is an Indian, and says that people who don't believe in her god are idiots, (Which is most of human society.) despite her abundant grammatical errors. Oh, and she also belittle Hinduism.

I find it especially interesting that she laughs at the thought of sinners being sent to hell for eternity. Not exactly following the "love thine enemies" mantra, is she?

Counter productive? You know what's counter-fucking-productive? Paying any attention whatsoever to imbeciles who post such shit as what you quoted.
It's counter productive to pretend that coddling stupid people is alright. Fuck no I say. If someone's spouting shit and talking nonsense I feel like I have the responsibility to tell them to shut the fuck up and get in the real world.

Far too long humans have been afraid to speak out against the stupidities in this world. Fuck that, atheism isn't growing because it's making best buddies with religion. It's growing because more and more people are realising the sheer stupidity of religion and are sticking a big damn fucking finger up to it.

If only everyone DID get angry at stupid people, might help stop them from spreading that stupidity.

Aegrus, while you are probably correct, I personally don't want to invite anyone into my tent that spends their time dreaming about how other people will be eternally tortured. If civility were all that enticing to a person such as this it becomes difficult to imagine how they ended up with these sorts of fantasies in the first place.

Those that would rather see you burn than entertain the notion, for even one minute, that they may be incorrect are not the kind of people who are likely to be swayed by civility. I agree with Ace in that some of the faithful are indistinguishable from the mentally unstable. I have also seen grown adults voice the same opinions, in exactly the same manner as this 13 year old.

I'm absolutely sick of being told to be nice to people who smile at the thought of others suffering. I'll call them on their bullshit every time and I won't apologize. There's no sense wagging fingers at the person who responds to monstrosity with aggression, ridicule, and downright malice. That is exactly how it should be dealt with, and always should have been dealt with. If it were we could have saved ourselves plenty of trouble at just about any point in time.

For my own part I chalk this down to her being 13. So whatever she's likely to say is to be taken with a grain of salt (though I wonder exactly who would want their children to express such ideas). I'm not out there searching for believers to accost. When someone approaches me and starts in on this drivel they're going to end up getting exactly the kind of ridicule they chose to endure by opening their mouths before thinking.
